This cable is suitable for use with all models of iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch and allows you to charge your device or SYNC your device with your computer.\n \nCharging Your Device:\nWhen used with an iPhone or iPod Touch this cable will charge your device using the power from your computer. Please note that iPads require more power than that provided by your computer and while they will operate from this power they will not charge up. To charge an iPad you will need to plug this USB cable into the Mains power via a USB Plug.\n \nData SYNC:\nThis can also be used to synchronise (SYNC) your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch with your iTunes library on your computer. Simply connect this to your device and to your computer, start up your iTunes application and you are ready to go.\n \nPersonal Hot Spot:\nThe latest versions of the iPhone come with a Personal Hot Spot feature (Normally under the Settings menu) which allows you to connect a computer to the internet via your iPhone.
